Last week I was speaking with a local pastor, whom I greatly respect. For several years now he has been excited about what God has been doing through the family of First Southern Baptist Church of Phoenix. As we talked, he was excited once again.
“David, there is ‘sideline Christian living’ and there is ‘significant Christian living.’ You and your church are doing the latter.” Wow!
This dear brother in Christ then urged us to broadcast this fact by putting in our Sunday bulletin, on our website, in our brochures, etc. He suggested we tell people “If you are interested in significant Christian living, this is the church for you.”
